There was a lot going on this past month. Here are a few highlights:

Elbow Lake- Queen's University

Our students spend two days at Queen’s University Biological Research Centre, Elbow Lake Outdoor Education Centre. It was an overnight trip and our students loved it. They partook in a variety of scientific, writing and observation exercises and programs, as well as some cooperative games, night hikes, wildlife observation and plant studies … and of course the obligatory evening camp fire with treats cooked over an open fire under the starry sky. When they returned on campus they had so many stories to tell.

Track and Field Tournament!

The Terry Fox Athletic Facility in Ottawa was the venue for Merrick Prep's first track team! Other private schools from the greater Ottawa region, including Ashbury College, Elmwood School, St. Laurent Academy, Ottawa Montessori School (OMS) The Element, Kanata Montessori, Calvary Christian Academy were fierce competitiors but MPS managed to claim 1st and 2nd in many events! Farewell Party for our graduates 2022

Our graduates had a beautiful farewell party on Saturday May 28. Students spent many hours decorating their ballroom weeks in advance for their big night! All of the students were invited and dressed up for the semi formal dinner and dance where they were served a steak dinner and enjoyed delicious deserts. We want to say thank you for all the staff and students who made the night a very special farewell. We will miss all of our graduates but we are so proud to see how all of our students once again gained entrance into their university of choice!

Fall update for Merrick Prep!

We are super excited for September 2022 to arrive! We are welcoming students from at least 19 different countries: Canada, South Africa, Nigeria, Spain, France, Senegal, Kenya, South Korea, China, Egypt, Peru, Mexico, Panama, Venezuela, Turkey, USA, Germany, Guinea Equatorial, UAE, Syria and more!

Being located in such a beautiful village and in a safe community, makes our partners around the world place students with us.
